I wrote 5 Peppermint Grove after my good friend Rachel emigrated to Australia in 2012. My family went out to see her in Perth and I was so inspired by the time that we spent there I had found the location for my next novel. Emigration was a hot topic in 2012 and I wove the theme into this novel. It reached number 4 in the Irish bestsellers charts. It can be bought on Amazon 5 Peppermint Grove. I gave this book a new cover over the summer when I stumbled upon a photograph that I took in the real Peppermint Grove in 2012.
